Text: Single Variable Calculus by James Stewart (6th.ed)

Course Description: This course is the second part in the introduction to single variable Calculus.

Evaluations and Grading: You will be evaluated on weekly homework assignments, two in-class midterms, and a final exam. Homework assignments will be administered using Webwork which can be found at http://hw.math.ucsb.edu/webwork/math3b-01-W10/. No late homework will be accepted. Your initial username and password is your perm number. Your final grade will be calculated as follows:
Section 10%
Homework 25%
Midterms 30%
Final 35%

Make-Up Policy: If you should find yourself unable to take a midterm on the scheduled date, you may take it no more than 2 days prior to the scheduled date at a penalty of 10% per day. You may NOT take an exam late.

Special Days: There is NO CLASS on Monday, January 18 (MLK Day) and Monday, February 15 (Presidents’ Day). Tentative exam dates are Friday, February 5 and Friday, March 5. The last day of class is Friday, March 12. The final exam is on Thursday, March 18, 4 - 7p.
