Prerequisite: MATH 3B

Grading: Weekly homework assignments will be given to be turned in at the beginning of class. No late homework will be accepted. You will have two midterms, 5 quizzes in your section, and a final. You will be expected to attend at least one section per week!

The weights are as follows:
Quizzes 10%
Homework 25%
Midterms 30%
Final 35%

Make-Up Policy: If you should find yourself unable to take a midterm on the scheduled date, you may take it no more than 2 days prior to the scheduled date at a penalty of 10% per day. You may NOT take an exam late.

Special Days:
There will be no class on the following days:
Monday, January 19 (MLK Day)
Monday, February 16 (Presidents’ Day)
The midterms are tentatively scheduled for
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 4 (note the change) and Friday, March 6.
The last day of class is Friday, March 13.
The final exam is on Tuesday, March 17 from 8am until 11am.
