Prerequisite
: MATH 3B

Evaluations and Grading
: Weekly homework assignments will be given to be turned in at the
beginning of class.
No late homework will be accepted. You will have two midterms, 5 quizzes
in your section, and a final.
Your final grade will be calculated as follows:
Quizzes 10%
Homework 25%
Midterms 30%
Final 35%

Make-Up Policy
: If you should find yourself unable to take a midterm on the scheduled date,
you may take it no more than 2 days prior to the scheduled date at a penalty of 10% per day. You
may NOT take an exam late.

Special Days
:
There will be no class on
Monday, May 31 (Memorial Day holiday).
The midterms are tentatively scheduled for
Friday, April 23 and Friday, May 21.
The last day of class is
Friday, June 4.
The final exam is on
Monday, June 7 from 8am to 11am.
