Homework
: You will solve assigned problems mostly from Crossley's book and Hatcher's notes; a major exception to this will be Hw1. See the homework page for assignments. You are expected to work all problems, and to turn in selected problems for grading. No late homework will be accepted, unless you have a documented excuse. You are encouraged to work on problems with other students in this class as long as each person in the group is an active participant; the final solutions to problems will be formulated and written individually! The final write-up should be neat and legible. You may type your solutions (preferably in LaTeX, or similar); in this case, you will handwrite "I typed this document myself" with your signature next to it (at the top of the first page); otherwise, the homework will not be accepted.
