Homeworks are due by 6:00am on Tuesday
and Friday. Note that selected homework problems (or similar) may be given on
tests. This is why it is crucial for you to do the homework before each class
and, moreover, remember the ideas and techniques used in your solutions.
Quizzes :
There will be pop-quizzes at the lecture and at the discussion sections.
The lowest two quiz scores will be dropped for the final grade. Quizzes cannot be made up.
Tests: There will
be one midterm and one three-hour final exam.
