Title: Metrised line bundles on abelian varieties and Galois module structure.
Abstract

I shall discuss some recent results concerning the `Arakelov' Galois module structure of certain torsors that are obtained by dividing points on abelian varieties. If time permits, I shall also explain how our methods enable us to obtain a new interpretation of the Mazur-Tate ideal class and circle pairings on abelian varieties. This is joint work with G. Pappas (Michigan State University).
