    • Homework/Problems Sets:
      There is a problem set due every week on Wednesday 8am (starting 04/08/09).
      You'll submit your answers using WeBWorks (except for Problem Set 7).
      Here, you find the WeBWorks login for the class.
      Your inital login and password is your perm number.
      Questions about the mathematical notation used in WeBWorks are answered here.

      Your solutions to Problem Set 7 must be handed in by 6/3/09.
      The answers to Problem Set 7 can be found here.
      No late homework will be accepted.

    • Exams:
      There will be a midterm and a final exam.
      The midterm took place on Friday, 5/01/09. Solutions.
      The final exam will take place on Wednesday, 6/10/09, 4-7pm.
      All exams will take place in lecture hall.
      You will be required to show a picture ID during all exams.
      Calculators, notes, or formula sheets are not allowed in any exams.

    • Practice Exams/Review Sessions:
      Practice Exam for the first Midterm. Solutions.
      Practice Final for the Final. Solutions.
      There was a review sessions for the midterm on Wednesday, 4/29/09, 7-8pm.
      There will be a review sessions for the final on Monday, 6/08/09, 7:30-8:30pm.
      All review sessions take place in the lecture hall.

    • Grading:
      On every exam Quality Bonus Points will be awarded for clear writing.
      The weighting of your final grade will be 10% from your problem sets,
      30% from the midterm, 60% from the cumulative final.
      The total score is the main factor in your grade; in addition, to pass Math 5C, you have to pass the final.
