Course Description:
Part 1 (Lecture 01 - Lecture 14): fractions, algebra, graphing, word problems, linearity, exponentials and logarithms;
Part 2 (Lecture 14 - Lecture 26): tangent lines, derivatives, critical points, maxima and minima;

You'll submit your answers online using WeBWorks.
There is a WeBWorks assignment due every Saturday, 8am.

- Exams:
The cummulative final exam will take place on Saturday,
3/21/09.
The final exam for the 8am lecture will be in Broida 1610 from
8:00am-11:00am.
The final exam for the 3pm lecture will be in Buchanan 1910 from
12:00pm-3:00pm.
You will be required to show a picture ID during the final.
Calculators or formula sheets are not allowed in any exams.
On every exam Quality Bonus Points will be awarded for clear writing.
No make-ups will be offered for any exams.

- Grading:
The weighting of your final grade will be,
20% from your homework submitted on WEBWORKS,
40% from the two midterms, 40% from the final.
The total score is the main factor in your grade; in addition, to pass Math 34A, you have to pass the final.
