Homework,
Quizzes
:
Weekly homework assignments due every Friday in class. No late homework will be accepted!

Quizzes will be given at each Tuesday discussion session, administered and graded by the TA. The two lowest scores on the quizzes will be dropped. No make up quizzes will be offered.
 
Exams: Two in-class midterm exams -- 04/26/10, 05/17/10 in class
Final exam -- 06/09/10, 4-7 p.m.
All exams will take place in the lecture hall. NO make-ups will be offered for the midterm. If a conflict prevents you from taking the final, you need to let me know of the compelling reasons by Wednesday, 05/26/10 (two weeks prior). .
 
Grading: Your final raw (percentage) score will be decided upon the quizzes, homeworks, the midterm exams, and the final exam. The break-up of the final grade is as follows:
Quizzes - 5%
Homework - 20%
Midterms - 2 x 20%
Final - 35%
You are encouraged to discuss your progress in the course with the instructor at any time.
 
Help: Math Lab - Free walk-in tutoring offered by the Math Department. It's open five days a week, 12 - 5 pm in South Hall 1607.
