Problem Sets:
There will be weekly problem sets. These problem sets are an important part of this course, and students are encouraged to complete them promptly.
Makeup Classes:
We will have occasional makeup classes to substitute for missed classes, to be held certain Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00 p.m.
The first makeup class was held Wednesday, April 30, 6:00-7:00 pm, in South Hall 6635 to make up for the class missed on April 14.
The second makeup class was held Wednesday, May 7, 6:00-7:00 pm, in South Hall 6635 to make up for the class missed on April 16.
The third makeup class was held Wednesday, May 21, 6:00-7:00 pm, in South Hall 6635 to make up for the class missed on April 18.
Exams:
There will be a midterm exam and a final exam.
The midterm exam was held on Monday, May 5 (an in-class exam).
Round two of the midterm exam was to be completed by Wednesday, May 7, at 6 pm.
The final exam will be a "take-home" exam due at the end of the scheduled exam period (Thursday, June 12, 12-3 pm).
Grading:
Problem sets, 50%
Midterm exam, 20%
Final exam, 30%
