Every Wednesday six math problems will be published. Three will be rated Level 1 and three will be
rated Level 2 in an attempt to specify the level of difficulty of the problems (this is not to say that freshman, sophomores,
or juniors should not attempt Level 2 problems, only that these problems might require higher level thinking). Problems will
also be marked
with a star if specialized knowledge is required to solve them. Math Club members will meet the following
Wednesday to discuss the solutions proposed by the students. Students can also participate on-line through the
forum. The nicest solutions will be posted along with the problem in the
Archive section of this web page
together with the name of the author. Unsolved problems will remain open in the Archive. Special rewards will
be given to students solving old problems.
