Conference in honor of Dr. Morris Newman's 80th Birthday

This is the first announcement of the conference to be held in honor of Dr. Morris Newman's 80th birthday to be held in April, 2004 on the Santa Barbara campus of the University of California.

Dr. Newman's research includes work in number theory, linear algebra, computation, and group theory.

Please reply to Adrian Dan Stanger adrian@math.byu.edu if you plan on attending. If you would like to speak at this conference, please contact Adrian Dan Stanger adrian@math.byu.edu. before March 1st, 2004. Most talks will be given on Saturday to accomodate travel schedules.
